Lentikats Biotechnology introduces a new approach to the intensification of nitrification and denitrification processes within wastewater treatment industry, which is based on the encapsulation of pure cultures of nitrification or denitrification bacteria into a porous carrier, so-called Lentikats Biocatalyst. High concentrations of the immobilised pure bacterial cultures (up to 30 times higher biomass content in comparison to activated sludge processes) lead to a highly efficient and stable process for removal of nitrogen pollution from wastewater, reject water or biogas plants effluent in a minimum reaction time. Lentikats Biotechnology offers a compact solution for removing of nitrogen pollution from municipal and industrial wastewaters as well as biogas plant effluents.
