LentiKat's a.s. has developed a new, revolutionary technology for the eliminating high concentrations of nitrogen pollutants. The benefits provided by our technology are very significant, as they are convincing. Lentikats Biotechnology enables the immobilization of free enzymes or microorganisms in carriers made from polyvinylalcohol (PVA). This carrier has excellent physical-mechanical properties that provide for long-term, mechanical stability while maintaining durability and non-toxic alternatives. This immobilization process enables repeated use of high concentrations of the biocatalyst as well as contamination risk reduction.

In addition to all these advantages, PVA is inexpensive, has no side effects in fermentation processes, and provides a high capacity for cell loading. Furthermore, this technology is easily monitored. Using the process, nitrified microorganisms, denitrified microorganisms, and other microorganisms are more accurately measured. Other advantages include reproduction prevention, easy separation from waste water, long-term durability with excellent, guaranteed performance.
