• Immobilization (encapsulation) of nitrification and denitrification bacteria, encapsulation of other microorganisms for selective biodegradations (removing pollutants such as: ethylene glycol, oil, alkanes, aromates, hydrocarbons, phenolic substances - phenol, chlorophenol, etc., acetone, acetonitrile, aniline, cyanides, ethylene glycol)
• Immobilization of native microbial cells (yeast, bacteria, filamentous fungi)
• Immobilization of disintegrated or partially disintegrated cells
• Immobilization of nonvegetative forms of microorganisms (spores)
• Immobilization of plant cells
• Immobilization of free enzymes used in the food industry and pharmacy
• Replacement of cross-linked enzymes and enzymes immobilized on a solid carrier and used in the food industry and pharmacy
