23.4.2010 - The World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocessing (Washington)
On the dates of June 27 - 30, 2010, our colleague will be the Organizer of one panel called Fungi, Bacteria, Enzymes at the World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocessing which will be held in Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC, USA. 2010 World Congress is the world's largest industrial biotechnology event for business leaders, investors and policy makers in biofuels, biobased products, and renewable chemicals which offers unique networking opportunities, an overview of the latest technological developments, and real world scenarios for bringing technological solutions to market. 29.9.2009 - Initiation of test installation
On September 22, 2009, a test of installation of residual nitrate removal from the waste water was initiated on the wastewater treatment plant with 1,000 PE. We would like to share the results from the test with you, so follow our websites to see new information.

23.9.2009 - Conference on Optimisation of project and operation of sewerage networks and WWTPs (Velké Bílovice)
On the dates of 1 - 2 October 2009, we are participating in the Conference on Optimisation of project and operation of sewerage networks and wastewater treatment plants that is going to be held in Velké Bílovice near Břeclav. Our colleague, Lucie Čechovská, will give the presentation "The way to fulfil nitrogen drain limitation does not have to be expensive at all using Lentikats Biotechnology" there. We are looking forward to meeting you.

On September 22 - September 24, 2009, our company is going to take part in the 16th International Water Management, Hydropower Engineering, Environment Protection and Utility Equipment Exhibition - AQUA 2009 which is going to be held in the Slovakian town, Trencin. 11.8.2009 - Water & Industry 2009 Conference (Palterston North, New Zealand)
During these days we were informed that our paper has been accepted for oral presentation at the conference Water & Industry 2009 which is organized by International Water Association and is going to be held in the dates from 30 November to 2 December 2009 in Palterston North, New Zealand. This conference will make a major contribution to improve industrial water management and provide a great platform to engage in reflection and networking. Researchers, managers, regulators, consultants, students and technology providers from around the world should attend Water & Industry 2009. They will find opportunities to contribute, exchange, learn and interact with world experts in this exciting and important field. We therefore invite you to come and enjoy New Zealand's summer during this event.

22.7.2009 - Journey to Brazil (Sao Paulo)
On the dates of 12 – 17 July 2009, our company took a journey to Brazil. During that time, our experts visited local distillery which is engaged in production of ethanol from sugar cane juice, and they successfully executed basic fermentation tests of sugar cane juice using Lentikats Biocatalyst in cooperation with Professor Edgar Gomes de Beauclair and his colleagues from the University of Sao Paulo in Piracicaba. The tripartite treaty about mutual cooperation between the companies LentiKat’s from Prague, Centroprojekt do Brasil from Sao Paulo and Brasil Green Energy from Piracicaba was signed. The cooperation is aimed at start-up of our common company which will be focusing on efficient utilisation of Lentikats Biotechnology in distilleries at first, later on also in the field of wastewater treatment and the others. Our main objective is defined as the establishment of a full-value professional, technological, supplier and production basis of Lentikats Biotechnology for the South American market.

11.6.2009 - Biotrans 2009 - Switzerland (Berne)
On July 5 - July 9, 2009, our company is going to participate in the conference Biotrans 2009 which takes place every two years in Europe with attendance of 500-600 participants from academia and industry. Biotrans 2009 will take place in Berne, capital city of Switzerland which is located in a beautiful setting at the foot of the Alps. We are looking forward to seeing you there.

21.4.2009 - Wastewater 2009 (Pilsen)
On the dates of 5 - 7 May 2009, we will be participating in the 8th International Conference "Wastewater 2009" which is organized by the Association of Wastewater Treatment Experts of the Czech Republic and will be held in Pilsen, the capital of the West Bohemian region, in a town which is connecting traditional Czech quality with top science and technology.

3.4.2009 - Workshop "New methods and procedures in wastewater treatment plants' operation"
On April 7 - April 8, 2009 our company is going to take part in the expert workshop "New methods and procedures in wastewater treatment plants' operation" which is going to be held in Moravska Trebova under the sponsorship of VHOS, a.s. Moravska Trebova, Association of Waste Treatment experts in the Czech Republic and Expert Group Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants. You are more than welcome to visit us.

1.4.2009 - Membership in Bioenergy Association of New Zealand
Last month LentiKat's a.s. has become a member of Bioenergy Association of New Zealand. The Bioenergy Association of New Zealand (BANZ) has been established to promote and coordinate the development of a bioenergy industry in New Zealand. BANZ provides a central focus point for liaison with Government agencies, the dissemination of information amongst the industry and long-term positioning of bioenergy into New Zealand's energy system. Members include anyone with a commercial interest in bioenergy - sawmillers, wood processors, energy suppliers, energy researchers, consultants, manufacturers and investors.

23.2.2009 - Conference - Solutions of extreme requirements on waste water treatment (Blansko, CZE)
LentiKat's a.s. will be participating in the conference "Solutions of extreme requirements on wastewater treatment that is going to be held on February 26 - February 27, 2009 in Hotel PANORAMA, Blansko (Czech Republic). Main goal of the conference is to inform the experts about the newest findings, processes and technologies in the field of waste water treatment in the Czech Republic and also abroad. We would be very pleased if you came and listened to the interesting presentations, i.a. the presentation of our colleague, Jan Mrákota, about sludge water.

9.1.2009 - Industrial Symposium and Trade Fair on Applied Microencapsulation (Brusel)
Dr. Radek Stloukal of our team will be taking part in Industrial Symposium and Trade Fair on Applied Microencapsulation that will take place in the capital of Belgium, in Brussels. We want to gain information in the field of Research & Development that will allow us to keep pace with the current trend.

23.12.2008 - CzechBio - Association of Biotechnological Companies of the Czech Republic
Association of Biotechnological Companies of the Czech Republic - CzechBio - was established on December 18, 2008 by the act of signing the founding contract and articles of the association. Our company was one of the constituent members. Such cooperation should bring many advantages, e.g. better efficiency in getting the grants for solving bigger projects which cannot be solved solely by each company. Foundation of the National centre for biotechnological production belongs to the main association's goals. We are looking forward to the long-term cooperation and wish good luck and much strength to achieve its goal!

22.10.2008 - 40th Conference of Water Managers in Industry - Tatranské Matliare
On November 24 - November 26, 2008, our company will be participating in the 40th Conference of Water Managers in Industry that will be held under the auspices of Minister of Environment of Slovakia, Mr. Ján Chrbet. The conference is taking place in Hotel SOREA Hutník in Tatranské Matliare in Slovakia. Our colleague, Dr. Alžběta Boušková, will give the presentation on the theme "Lentikats Biotechnology - Technology for elimination of nitrogen pollution from industrial wastewater and its application". 8.10.2008 - Sewerage Water 2008 - Štrbské Pleso
On the dates of 15 – 17 October 2008, we are participating in the conference Sewerage Water 2008 that is held in Hotel Patria in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia. The conference is organized by the Association of Waste Treatment Experts in Slovakia – AČE SR. Our colleague, Dr. Alžběta Boušková, will give her presentation on the theme “Removing of nitrogen pollution from the wastewater from lay-by’s and fuel stations’ wastewater treatment plants and hotels’ wastewater treatment plants by the help of Lentikats Biotechnology”. We would like to wish her good luck and we look forward to meeting you!

7.10.2008 - Membership in AČE Czech Republic
Dr. Radek Stloukal from our team has become an associated member of Association of Waste Treatment Experts in Czech Republic – AČE CR. Its main goal is to improve technical performance of sewerage and waste water treatment (sewerage, municipal and industrial waste water). As a consequence, quality improvement of underground and surface waters should be achieved. Congratulations to the membership and good luck!

6.10.2008 - Membership in SOVAK Czech Republic
LentiKat’s a.s. has become a member of a voluntary, non-governmental interest association called Water Supply and Sewerage Association of the Czech Republic (SOVAK Czech Republic). SOVAK CR associates the units that are involved in the supply of water, disposal and treatment of wastewater, and that focus on the operation, ownership and development of such systems. SOVAK represents its members during negotiations with state authorities in the issues which constitute a common interest of its members, ensures activities and services according to the members’ needs and interests, and cooperates with similar organizations both within and outside the Czech Republic. It publishes and distributes the “SOVAK” journal to its members and the other interested parties every month. We are looking forward to cooperating with the association!

22.9.2008 - Diversificacion 2008 - X Congreso Internacional sobre Azúcar y Derivados
On October 14 – October 17, 2008, our company LentiKat’s a.s. will participate in the 10th International Congress about Sugar and Derivatives from Sugar Cane that will be held in Hotel Nacional de Cuba in the capital city of Cuba, La Habana. Our company and our biotechnology will be presented by Dr. Julius Forsthoffer from the Association of alcohol producers (Slovakia) who will give the presentation called “Molasses Distilleries Intensification by the help of Lentikats Biotechnology” that was made in cooperation with our colleagues. We would like to wish him good luck and we look forward to meeting you.

1.9.2008 - Participation in XVI International Conference on Bioencapsulation (Dublin)
On September 4 - September 6, our company will be participating in the XVI International Conference on Bioencapsulation that is held in Dublin, Ireland. Our colleague, Dr. Radek Stloukal, will give a presentation called "Industrial Enzyme Encapsulation into PVA Lentikats" there. We wish him good luck and look forward to meeting you there.

5.8.2008 - Institution of the production in Stráž pod Ralskem
We began our production using our newly developed and constructed high-density unit in our production plant in Stráž pod Ralskem after its testing operation in July 2008. The unit is able to produce 10 kg of Lentikats biocatalyst per hour.

7.7.2008 - Membership in the CEVTECH
On July 3, LentiKat's a.s. attended a meeting of members of CEVTECH - Center for Water and Ecology Technologies in Soběslav where it also became a member. The aim of CEVTECH is a thorough preparation and guarantee of services when dealing with the assignments provided by the association members and clients. As a result, they will become more competitive. The association offers consulting services, information, supports innovative ideas and innovations and receives grants and subsidies for the innovations, science, research and development of small and mid size businesses. We are looking forward towards a cooperation with other members and wish them a lot of success!

20.6.2008 - Seminar Svitavy
Under the LentiKat's a.s. leadership was organized on June 12 in Svitavy a technical seminar. The seminar was organized on the occasion of successful operation of pilot unit installed at the Svitavy Wastewater Treatment Plant. We are thankful to all quests and lecturers for large attendance and for pleasant atmosphere. We hope this seminar has provided you with interesting information and answered all your questions. 30.1.2008 - Lecture on the Intensification of Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant with the Lentikat's Biotechnology
We are inviting you to a lecture about the intensification of biological wastewater treatment plants using Lentikat's Biotechnology. The lecture will be given on April 2 in Moravska Trebova, at the technical seminar New Methods and Processes for the Operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plants.

10.12.2007 - IFAT 2008
On the dates of 5 - 9 May 2008, we are visiting IFAT 2008 in München, an environmental solutions exhibition and therefore we would like to invite you for meeting us at our booth No. 517 (section A3).

20.8.2007 - Case study preparation
In the coming weeks, we will be providing technological case study results on our website. The individual application options will be presented as in Lentikats Biotechnology proposals. We hope that in taking this action, we will significantly improve the puplic’s conception of our website while providing visitors specific information relevant to their perspective fields. Visitors will also be provided opportunities to shape their own solutions at our site while comparing our technology with traditional technologies used today.

9.7.2007 - Lentikats Biotechnology in biogas stations
Lentikats revolutionary technology, effective in signficantly reducing nitrogen concentrations in sludge liquor biogas stations, is also reusable. As a result of this fact, we are, in addtition to the field within which we have been concerned for some time now, preparing the realistic application of this technology, which will, in turn, provide for simple solutions and interesting financial outcomes.

22.6.2007 - CleanFuels 2007 Barcelona
We have gained many new and interesteing contacts at the CleanFuels international conference in Barcelona, where we developed business activities in the field of biofuels and innovative technological processes utilizing biomass. While at the conference, we also took the opportunity to follow up on previously made contacts, confirmed our future cooperation with them, and clearly defined mutual aims relevant to these relations.

10.6.2007 - Gent
On the dates of 4-6 June , 2007, we visited Gent, Belgium in an effort to come into contact with some of the most modern findings in research and development. While there, we discussed current issues, such as renewable resources and biorefineries, with several experts from around the world.

1.6.2007 - Eastern Biofuels 2007
We have successfully debuted our technology at the Eastern Biofuels Conference & Expo in Prague, an international conference which took place on the dates of 29-31 May, 2007. Aside from meeting with some of the most significant biofuel companies from around the world, with whom we’ve arranged for future cooperation, we also took the opportunity to follow up on contacts we had recently made in Boston.

15.5.2007 - BIO 2007
Lentikats made its debut appearance on the American market with an exhibit at BIO 2007, an international convention held in Boston on the dates of May 6-9. We acquired an abundance of useful information and established several valuable contacts. We have already arranged for cooperation with some of these contacts and negotiations are to be continued...

17.4.2007 - General preparations for biorafinery operation
We are preparing technical/technological details for the successful operation of small, agricultural biorefineries with production capacities of approx. 3,000 m3 annually. This concept stems from the Bio Plant 2015 project. Lentikats biocatalysts for 2nd grade enzymatic hydrolyses and fermentation will be employed for these processes. In connection with our technology, processed raw materials provide a safe and competitive investment for perspective and ecological solutions.

5.2.2007 - International Convention BIO 2007
On the dates of May 6-9 2007, the BIO 2007 International Convention will take place in Boston (www.bio2007.org). Bio Tech companies from around the world will be making presentations. LentiKat's a.s.will participate in this prestigious gathering.

01.06.2006 - Foundation of LentiKat’s a.s.
We started activity on 13 April 2006 upon the incorporation of the company. We are continuing the activities of several years of Czech and foreign companies in the field of biotechnologies.

We chose the following main motto: "Biotechnologies that are changing the world…"

We wish to indicate our readiness to provide services primarily in the following fields:
