Project „Development of device working with the modified enzyme Biocatalysts for use in the food, pharmaceutical and other biotechnologies”
7.2.2012
Based on the decision made by Technology Agency of the Czech Republic about the results of 2nd call of public competition, this 3-year lasting project was selected to be carried out in the framework of so-called ALFA programme which supports projects of applied research and experimental development. The 2nd call of public competition was announced on July 20, 2011. Above mentioned project was created in cooperation with our long-time business and scientific partners, namely PHARMIX, s.r.o., Institute of Microbiology, v.v.i., and Palacky University Olomouc. The main project's objectives consist in development of a device working with immobilised enzymes and in a modification of Lentikats Biocatalyst that extends its utilization for other processes by using the purposely modified enzymes, by entering of magnetic component to the catalyst structure which enables not only its easier separation, but also the improvement of aseptic properties using nanoparticles of silver.
