About the Lenticats Biocatalyst

Lentikats Biocatalyst can be imagined as a porous lentil in which enzymes or microorganisms are encapsulated (immobilised). The matrix is made of polyvinyl alcohol, i.e. a hydrogel with excellent physical & mechanical  features that provide a long-term mechanical stability. Moreover, polyvinyl alcohol is biologically un-degradable and has zero toxicity.
